Exciting developments are happening for Skanem Africa in the East African region. Our new labelling factory in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, opened for operations in late July 2024. The aim is to provide better services in closer proximity to all of our customers and expand to new markets throughout the region.

The new facility is a smaller counterpart to the existing operations in Kenya. Its primary purpose is to increase production volume, capacity and lead times. By establishing a local manufacturing presence, Skanem Africa aims to serve its existing customer base more effectively while also attracting new customers.
