Receiving job status updates about ongoing label design and manufacturing processes has traditionally been an analogue process. Customers must call customer care and sometimes wait for longer periods until new information about the label order can be provided.

In today's fast-paced and digitized business world, efficiency, accuracy and seamless communication is the blueprint. To reduce friction and enable a faster and improved customer experience, Skanem Africa is taking significant steps towards a digital transformation with the launch of our new customer portal, Siteline, in Q4 2023.

What is Siteline?

Siteline is a customer portal where you can get an overview of your labels, make changes to your labelling design elements, and get immediate access to job status for your order in-house.

The tools and technologies of Siteline also make it easier for our team at Skanem to dedicate more time and effort towards making your labelling requirements a reality.

Although the portal has many functions, three key features significantly reduce the time and effort it takes to receive feedback about your labels:

1. Access to your label library

The portal’s label library is where you’ll find all your online orders and label specifications. Some of the main functions of the library include:

  • Viewing order and manufacturing status
  • Viewing order history, including completed orders
  • Placing repeat orders

While placing an order, you can always view the total cost. You can either place an order in the portal, or we can help you set one up internally.

2. Manage and approve artwork

The artwork approval function provides full-layer visibility and audit logs of your label design. It is easy to oversee all artwork changes and who has made them, as they are registered in the portal.

3. Track milestones

You can track milestones for any new jobs added to the portal. For instance, this can be new product development, project status, collaborations, and more.

Profile set-up and training

We will create profiles for all our customers and provide training sessions consecutively. The rollout process extends from Q4 2023 throughout Q1 2024.
